The shock of the weekend
Manchester City won 3–0 at Anfield. Most of our players had Liverpool in their pick, so game 12 cost a lot of coupons a point.
The draws that hurt
Four games finished level: Aston Villa 2–2 Brentford, Manchester United 1–1 Tottenham, Hull City 2–2 Everton and Cagliari 1–1 Juventus. Players who put a single on the favourite in any of them were punished, which is exactly where the 4 double chances earn their place.
Goals galore
Chelsea's 5–1 against Bournemouth was the biggest scoreline on the coupon. Barcelona (3–0 against Getafe), PSG (3–1 against Le Mans) and Crystal Palace (3–1 against Nottingham Forest) also scored three, while Real Madrid needed only one against Villarreal.
