13 PicksHow 13 Picks works
13 Picks is a free football prediction game for friends. Every weekend you pick the result of 13 games, and your league table shows who knows their football best. There are no entry fees, stakes or cash prizes — it's for bragging rights.
1. Start a league
Give your league a name, choose the first Saturday and how long it runs: 5, 10 or 15 weeks. You also choose whose football the weekly games come from: England, Spain, Germany, Italy, France, the Netherlands, Portugal, or Top European leagues, which mixes the best games from all of them.
2. Invite your friends
Add each friend's first name and email. A league has room for you and up to 19 friends — 20 players in all. Invites stay open until the first picks lock.
3. Pick 13 games each weekend
The week's 13 games appear every Tuesday at 12:00 CET. For each game you choose 1 (home win), X (draw) or 2 (away win):
- 9 singles — mark one box.
- 4 double chances — mark two boxes on the games you're least sure about, so either result counts.
Picks lock 1 hour before the first kick-off of the weekend. Until then everyone's picks are secret; after the cut-off the whole league's coupons are revealed side by side.
4. Score points and win the league
You get 1 point for every correct pick, so a perfect week is 13 out of 13. Results update as games finish, and the league with the most points at the end of the season wins. A coupon only counts when it's complete.
Reminders and the app
Forget to pick? 13 Picks can send you an email reminder before the cut-off, and if you add 13 Picks to your phone's home screen you can also get phone notifications at the times you choose.
