The biggest shock
Going on names alone, Den Haag 2-1 PSV looks like the result most likely to have tripped up a coupon: a home win for the side most people would not have expected to take the points. Venezia FC 1-0 Napoli and Juventus 0-3 Lazio were other results that could have caught coupon-fillers out.
Notable scorelines
- Bayern 6-1 RB Leipzig was the biggest winning margin of the weekend.
- Brighton Hove 5-0 Crystal Palace was the other five-goal margin.
- Four away sides scored five: Barça at Real Betis (2-5), Real Sociedad at Málaga (2-5), Marseille at Angers SCO (2-5) and Ajax at Groningen (2-5).
- Goal-fests: Elversberg 4-3 Augsburg, Paris FC 4-3 Stade Rennais and Telstar 3-4 Feyenoord.
- Draws were scarce, with just eight, including three goalless: Union Berlin v Dortmund, Villarreal v Elche and Valencia v Athletic.
